Vicki Stockman POETRY, it's not rock n roll is it?
But don't say that to Luke Wright, who is coming to Liverpool with his satirical poetry.
The 25-year-old is already gunning for the position of Poet Laureate when Andrew Motion steps down from the post next year.
Following on from his successful run at the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Luke will be heading out on his 21-date tour at the end of the month.
His unique style has seen him support Perrier Award winner Laura Solon and alongside the likes of Eddie Izzard, Pete Townsend and Jerry Hall.
With titles such as I Bet That You Look Good On The Sofa and a love poem for Richard Madeley called Truly, Madeley Deeply the show is not your average poetry recital.
Luke Wright comes to the Unity Theatre in Liverpool on Tuesday, March 13.
Tickets are available from the Box office on 0151 709 4988.
