Whispers

12:31pm Thursday 12th April 2007

BRIDGEWATER Players host the world premiere of Whispers as their 150th production next week.

The thriller, written by member Ian Hornby, tells the story of Linda. Disabled, she cannot conceive and feels guilty about not being able to provide husband Sean with an heir.

When accidentally breaking an antique photo she unleashes the ghost of Belle - a resident of the house in the 19th century who haunts the nursery they had made before Linda discovered she was barren - making sure Linda has less desire than ever to go into the haunted room.

The performances take place at Thelwall Parish Hall at 7.45pm from Thursday, April 19 to Saturday, April 21.

Tickets are available on the door or by calling Avis Shaw on 730390.
