Mr and Miss Warrington deadline extended

THE deadline for entries to the Mr and Miss Warrington Guardian 2008 competition has been extended.

You now have until midnight on Friday, September 5, to submit your picture if you would like to be the genuine hometown boy or girl to represent the town.

This year’s event promises to be even bigger and better with a live final at Chicago Rock on Thursday, October 2.

Up for grabs is a professional photoshoot provided by the Warrington Guardian.

And so that you will be looking your best for the photoshoot, the two winners will win a free haircut at Callaghan Moran and a £75 gift card for Debenhams – plus a year’s VIP pass for superclub Synergy.

The competition is open to anyone over the age of 18 who lives within Warrington borough boundaries.

The winners do not have to be a couple and each competitor should send in his or her entry separately.

Simply fill in the entry form and send it, along with an up-to-date photo to: Mr and Miss Warrington Guardian, The Academy, 138 Bridge Street, Warrington, WA12RU or e-mail your name, address phone number, age and photo to: ndocking@guardiangrp.co.uk You can also fill in a form and enter online at warringtonguardian.co.uk.

Make sure your entries include large, high-resolution images if possible.
