Male slimming sensations in the running for national contest

TWO male slimmers from Stretford are in the running for a national competition.
Richard Bartfield and Pete Boyle lost 12 stone between them and after winning the regional heats of Slimming World’s Man of the Year competition are now both in the semi finals of the national contest.
Richard said:”I was thrilled to be announced as the local ‘Man of the Year’ so to make it through to the national stages was fantastic.”
Coronation Street actress Kim Marsh, was on hand at the competition to present prizes. She said:”It’s so inspiring to meet people who have transformed their life and health in such a positive way.”
Andrea, the local team manager for Slimming World said: ”It’s a fantastic achievement and I am extremely proud that Richard and Phil have got so far in this national competition.”
