WARRINGTON'S wildfowl enjoyed the freezing temperatures today by doing a spot of skating.

Warrington Guardian photographer Ian Park spotted this swan enjoying the one bit of water not frozen at Ackers Pit in Stockton Heath.

But the ducks weren't so lucky and got to stand on the icy surface.

Meanwhile Dave Gillespie took this shot of the golf course at Walton Gardens covered in frost early on Sunday morning.
