MORE than 100 runners braved the cold to get into the Christmas spirit at a Santa Dash on Sunday morning.
Big Brother favourties Mario and Lisa were on hand to launch the Families United fun run at Walton Gardens.
And dressed in Santa outfits, 130 runners took on the five-kilometre course in a bid to raise what organisers hope will top £2,000 for the Birchwood based charity.
It is the second installment of the race.
Families United helps children and their families cope with disabilities.
The charity, which works across the borough, helps provide days out as well as funds courses and weekly classes for the youngsters and their families.
