Children sent home from Warrington school

CHILDREN have been sent home from Burtonwood Primary School after the building closed today.
A spokesman for Warrington Borough Council said the school on Green Lane would not be opening due to problems with its boiler.
Repair work is expected to be carried out today and a message on the school’s reception answer phone says it will be open as usual tomorrow.
