WINSFORD United have been promoted - without kicking a ball.
Vodkat North West Counties League bosses have voted to rebrand their top tier as the Premier Division from next season.
Division Two will become Division One.
"This is to bring us inline with other Step Five and Six competitions around the country," said a league spokesman.
Fans club AFC Liverpool, Wigan Robin Park and Irlam have been incorporated as new members and will play in the second tier.
Winsford will face newcomers Alsager Town after the Bullets were thrown out of the UniBond League's southern division for failing to pass a ground grading exam.
The line up for both divisions will not be known until the end of June.
League chairman Dave Tomlinson told members at the annual meeting that next season's campaign will kick off on Saturday, August 9.
