WINSFORD have been dumped out of the FA Cup.
The Blues went down 3-0 to Northern Counties East outfit Nostell Miners Welfare in a replay of their Extra Preliminary round tie on Tuesday night.
After blowing a 3-1 lead in the first game on Saturday, Winsford knew they would have to play better to go through to the next round.
Nostell took the lead after nine minutes, Neil Beardsmore firing an unstoppable volley past Mike Langley.
They doubled their advantage after 36 minutes when Paul Bedford was left unmarked to stroke home.
Winsford rallied and their best chance of the night fell to Ross Kennedy who blazed over after Phil Mason had seen his effort saved.
Oli Johnson, the star man for Nostell on Saturday, again showed his class, jinking past two players and sidefooting past Langley to make it three.
Attendance: 135
