WARRINGTON Wolves will assess Lee Briers’ fitness in the next few days after the stand off limped off during the closing stages of Sunday’s clash with Castleford.
Briers appeared to injure his right knee during the first half of the match but strapping allowed him to continue until he seemed to take a knock to his other knee with five minutes remaining.
Centre Martin Gleeson also limped off during the second half but returned to finish the game at loose forward.
Wolves boss Jimmy Lowes said: “Gleese twisted his ankle but there’s no problems there.
“I’m not sure about Lee. We’ll see over the next couple of days what his injury is.”
