WARRINGTON Wolves head of strength and conditioning Paul Stridgeon will leave the club at the end of the season.

Stridgeon has decided to depart after taking up an offer to join the RFU as England's national fitness coach once the Super League season is over.

The conditioner is highly respected in both codes and Wolves had regarded him as a key asset after impressing since his arrival from rugby union club Wasps at the end of last year.

Stridgeon said: "This is a great opportunity for me and I didn't hesitate to accept the offer.

"I'd like to thank Warrington Wolves for the support they have given me."

Wolves have now actively begun seeking a replacement for Stridgeon.

Tizerbeast do you ever say anything positive , Bet you look into a pint pot of beer half drunk and you would say it was half empty instead of half full !!! Considering the season we have had we should be glad we are where we are now. Better than last year
