Wood has no case to answer

THE RFL video panel ruled that Paul Wood had no case to answer after a high tackle during Warrington Wolves' defeat at Castleford.
The panel reviewed footage of the 27th-minute incident but ruled that initial contact was made with the ball or shoulder.
No incident involving Matty Blythe was reviewed by the panel despite the youngster being placed on report at around the same time in the match, suggesting that there may have been a case of mistaken identity at the time.
The video panel ruled that a sin-binning was sufficient for Lee Briers, who committed a late tackle on kicker Luke Dorn, and Ben Westwood, who received a yellow card for dissent.
Westwood has been sent a warning letter by the RFL after committing a dangerous tackle during Wolves' previous match against Hull KR.
The panel ruled that the Hull KR player was placed in a dangerous position but landed on his arm.
Adrian Morley will appear before a disciplinary hearing in Leeds later on this afternoon, Wednesday, to discover whether he will be banned for an alleged use of the knees in a tackle at Castleford.
